My work is mainly an exploration of the female body. Over the past couple of years I have furthered this exploration with inclusions of my research into my Sicilian ancestry and the influences of the land on my work.   

That was my father's side of the family - Sicily, the land, farming.

I'm now looking into my mother's side and that work will be based on exploration of the Orkney Islands, neolithic art forms and forced emigration.

Landing
Zinglada fell through the hole in the sky above Thunder Bay and woke up the Sleeping Giant when she bounced off his third eye into a patch of tundra near InterCity. This is where her quest began. Or begins. Depending on your point of view.
More about the rudely awakened giant soon enough. It will take him a bit of time to collect his dreams. He has been sleeping a very long time after all. So long in fact that the tundra grew over him like a blanket.

I am trying out a posting method via blogger email from my iPad or iPhone.

It worked. Posted the photo from my iPad via email and now have signed in via Safari onto the blog to add or edit the post. 

Thanks to my friend Nancy found artist who works with collage painting and music love when windos open up artist is Romare Bearden. Also Rick philips is giving lecture  re Tone Poems or Symphonic Poem which what I heard in LA. All an interesting journey

Apropos of our work with horses?!

Thought I would share a magical artistic venture with you all, especially you Lynn.
Sunday went to the Walt Disney concert hall, to hear Dudamel the LA conductor of the LAA Phil.
The building is truly a work out art by Frank Grety and the acoustics are of such a quality, the sound was from another worl.
There a wonderful program but the. Piece of interst to us was by a composer by the name is Max Reger,  German composer of the 20 th century. The name of the work was Four Tone Poems after Arnold Bockin, a symbolist painter.
You could actually from the music see colours at least I did.
