Landing
Zinglada fell through the hole in the sky above Thunder Bay and woke up the Sleeping Giant when she bounced off his third eye into a patch of tundra near InterCity. This is where her quest began. Or begins. Depending on your point of view.
More about the rudely awakened giant soon enough. It will take him a bit of time to collect his dreams. He has been sleeping a very long time after all. So long in fact that the tundra grew over him like a blanket.

Oooh, this sounds so intriguing Rika. I want to read more! The "began, begins" in particular stands out for me. Playing with time. I just saw Another Earth which has me thinking about multiverses and time.

Please extend an invitation to Zinglada and the awakening SG to pop over to Sioux Lookout for tea.....it really isn't that far and it has been simply ages (I can only assume) since their last visit. I climbed up the Giant's chimney a few years ago when he was fast asleep and enjoyed the view!
