I seem to recall we discussed this:

or am I imagining we did?
Regardless, an interesting concept to ponder - and also how it applies to so many other areas of our lives.
Happy summer everyone!

Hi Shelley, thanks for this. You inspire me to mention a documentary series I have been watching about women in art.
ReplyDeleteBBC series, The Story of Women and Art. You may find it on YouTube. I watched on regular tv cable.
And a woman who I have only this past week discovered. Miriam Schapiro. She was born in Toronto. Died this past week at 91 in US.
Has an incredible history in art as a feminist. She worked in paint, collage, sculpture, installation, mixing traditional female crafts with art practice. Very exciting discovery.
This url will take you to a lot of her work and history.
